Striped tablecloths are hot! They’re bright and bold and make a huge impact in very short order. Whether you’re planning a classic black and white wedding or a plucky pirate-themed birthday party, striped tablecloths make decorating a cinch.

Black and white stripes can be combined with any color. Like gold, for example. That’s what DFW Events used for this classy anniversary party. Isn’t it elegant?

Soirée Floral paired radiant orchid with black and white stripes for this bold wedding decor. I love the clean, modern stripes hanging clear to the ground from the tall cocktail tables.

For a nautical look, consider navy and white stripes. That’s what Samantha Scott Events did at this outdoor birthday party. The navy napkins look great with the gorgeous blue and white hydrangeas.

Royal blue and white stripes make for a lovely table, too. Check out this fresh table that Mary Maki Rae found in Carolyne Roehm’s latest book. Doesn’t it make you think spring?

The Hostess With The Mostess used yellow and white stripes (combined with pink!) on this birthday dessert table. It doesn’t get any more cheerful than that.

Lindsey from Troy And Lindsey put together a make-your-own Italian soda bar for the folks in her book club. Geez, I want to join that book club! Since her shin-dig was in February, she decorated with traditional red and pink. By the way, Lindsey provides a free printable sign for the Italian Soda Bar. I’m definitely going to try this idea out this summer.

How I wish my sons were little boys again! I would SO host a pirate-themed birthday party like this one by Cakes Like A Party. This pirate boat table cracks me up!

By the way, if you have an umbrella patio table and would like to have a striped tablecloth with an umbrella hole in it, check out my blog post called 7 Ways to Make Umbrella Holes. You can modify a store-bought tablecloth if you’re handy, or, if you prefer, you can order nearly any tablecloth from Bright Settings and add (or subtract?) an umbrella hole for only $3.

Stripes don’t have to be made with one bold color against white. They can be a more subtle tone-on-tone like this Navy Polystripe tablecloth featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs blog. There is nothing more beautiful than a classic wedding.

In my next blog post, I’m going to tell you all about the different striped tablecloths available at Bright Settings. Whether you want to buy or rent, we’ve got your table covered! If you can’t wait for the next post and you need to know all about our stripes right this minute, call one of our knowledgeable salespeople at 1-800-327-6025. They not only know virtually everything about tablecloths, but they’re good at helping people figure out what size and how many they’ll need.
